Welcome! I am Janae Gardner (she/her) and it would be my honor to support your journey towards healing and wellness. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel supported, valued, and truly heard. Warm, compassionate, non-judgmental, empathetic, and authentic best describe my counseling style. You’ll be welcomed into a therapeutic environment where you can openly express and manage your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a healthy manner. A collaborative and person-centered approach is utilized to meet the unique needs of each individual.

My treatment approaches incorporate person-centered and strength-based approaches, including Brainspotting (brain-body based), IFS, SFBT, DBT, CBT, ACT, Play and Art Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Therapeutic sessions may include elements of Brainspotting, practicing mindfulness, learning coping skills and self-care techniques, expressive arts, bilateral music sounds, and guided meditation.

I enjoy working with adolescents (12+), young adults, and adults. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, anger management, bullying, self-esteem, grief and loss, substance use, life transitions, mood disorders, family conflict, and chronic illness, as well as neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Through a collaborative approach, we can work towards greater stability and healing.
